Layover in Osaka

After a 11 hour flight, arriving at midnight SF time, I had high hopes of rallying and exploring Osaka after a short nap.  Unfortunately, the rest of the family was dead tired, and I overslept my nap, so we settled for a hotel experience.

Our hotel - the Kensai Garden Spa - had some interesting things in it.  The allure was the in-house hot springs, and I took full advantage, soaking upon arrival, and before departure.    The springs were perfectly hot, and there were little tub seats where you could sit, wash with soap, and shampoo.  We also got to wear some cool Japanese robes to go to and from the spa.

In true Japanese fashion, there were some other interesting things in the hotel.  Each room has a massage chair, which went well after my soaks. Bryce liked it too.

The other novelty was a butt-washer in the bathroom.

We aren't sure if you're supposed to wipe before or after using the washer. Any ideas?
